Using a variety of mat and equipment techniques, Pilates can not only transform the way your body feels, but can also help create a sleek, toned physique without excess bulk. Pilates helps strengthen muscles, body imbalances, increase flexibility, coordination, balance and improve overall health. Every exercise is performed with attention to the breath, proper form and efficient movement patterns. The exercises are safe, low impact and appropriate for anyone from 10 to 100 years old. Pilates focuses on taking the knowledge one gains in these sessions that can be applied towards your everyday life!

Yoga is a Hindu spiritual and ascetic discipline, a part of which, including breath control, meditation, and the adoption of specific bodily asanas or postures, is widely practiced for health and relaxation. Yoga is a process of reversing the ordinary outward flow of energy and consciousness. During Yoga the mind becomes the dynamic center of direct perception, no longer dependent upon the fallible senses but capable of actually experiencing Truth. The word yoga itself means "union": of the individual consciousness, soul or spirit. The Yoga system, balances and unifies the practice of meditation, that enable one to perceive, glimpses of the ultimate goal — conscious union with a blissful spirit. The practice of yoga makes the mind-body strong and flexible, while improving the functionality of the respiratory, circulatory, digestive, and hormonal systems.

Robyn has been a Physical Therapy aide for over 7 years under the supervision of established Physical Therapists and clinics. She can tailor workouts to her clients specific and individual needs. Robyn has practiced and deepened her skill set through thousands of hours of experience with the desire to work with and help as many people as she can. Upon completing extensive continuing education courses, with a focus on helping to relieve pain, restore and improve function, mobility, while promoting general overall health and well being. Robyn has experience working with total joint replacements, pre and post-surgical conditions, back & neck pain, spinal injuries, shoulder and elbow injuries & conditions, hip, knee & foot injuries, prenatal & postpartum, neurological conditions as well as auto-immune disorders. These aspects reflect Robyn’s dedication and personalized approach to training.

Thai Yoga is a holistic healing modality that combines poses with stretching, gentle twisting, and palming to promote recovery and relaxation. This massage technique is ideal for anyone, from athletes to everyday individuals. Whether you are bound to a desk, suffering from 'text neck' or competing at a high level, the stretching and assisted movement Thai Yoga provides can help you be at your best. This specific bodywork is performed in athletic attire and on a floor mat. During each session, Robyn will guide you through flowing sequences utilizing palms to gently knead and squeeze muscles. The client will also be twisted, rocked, compressed and stretched, using feet, thumbs and fists to alleviate kinks in the body. These techniques will allow the mind, body and spirit to slow down and center. Some benefits include: Increased flexibility, mobility, pain relief, improved range of motion, circulation, and lymphatic drainage. Sessions are 90 minutes.
