Robyn Cohen is an accomplished and multi-talented dancer, choreographer, and Pilates instructor who has spent most of her life following her passions.  Her interest in dance began when she started training at the early age of three. A native of Kansas City, she received her BFA degree, on scholarship, in Jazz Dance Performance from University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA.  She has always had a love of movement since she was little and has carried that enthusiasm and excitement into her adult endeavors for Pilates, Rehabilitation, Dance and Magic!

Robyn began her Pilates training while studying in college for her Pilates Mat Certification with AAAI Fitness in Philadelphia, and since 2007 has been certified through Balanced Body University on all apparatus. In 2009, Robyn was honored to instruct Michael Jackson's touring dancers in Pilates in preparation for the King of Pop's "This Is It!" London-tour. A certified TRX trainer, Robyn also was featured in Pilates Style Magazine for her training and work in ActivCore.  She has  continued her training over the years and recently advanced to become nationally recognized as a Pilates Method Alliance teacher. Her passion for movement led her to become a certified Yoga Practitioner through MSP 300 teacher training program and Yoga Alliance! Robyn is thrilled to be able to share her love of movement and baseball by instructing and strengthening the LA Dodgers as well as the Cincinnati Reds.

Through all this, Robyn’s love of dance has never taken a back seat.  She enjoyed dancing for the 25th anniversary of Dirty Dancing at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood playing the role of Baby and can be seen in Zooey Deschanel’s Don’t Look Back and I Could’ve Been Your Girl music videos. Robyn has performed with professional dance companies such as Joseph Allen Decker Dance Co and Hart Pulse Dance. Her other featured dance projects include Yael Myers Used to Be music video, Army Navy’s Worlds End, ScrubLovers Commercial, and La Femme, a short award winning dance film. Her stage credits include live shows at the El Captain in Hollywood for Oz The Great and Powerful, performances at The Magic Castle, and in short films.

Robyn has had the pleasure of working in the world of live magic, most notably touring the country as a featured dancer and assistant with renowned illusionist Michael Grandinetti.  Some of her favorite credits with Michael include levitating in the air above Constitution Avenue in Washington DC’s 4th of July Parade for 250,000 people, opening a major league baseball game with live illusion on the field at Marlins Park Stadium in Miami, assisting for nine weeks in a casino show in Reno, and performing during the half time show for The Chicago Bulls and Arizona Cardinals.  Robyn also appeared with Michael in the CW television series "Masters of Illusion" for multiple seasons, and on the show's worldwide tour.

As a choreographer, Robyn has created pieces for Mix Match Dance Festival, and for the Youth American Grand Prix Competition in Long Beach, CA; where she placed in the top 10 for ensemble and contemporary solo performances.  She was also selected to be a dancer/choreographer for Nickelodeon's cartoon series "Penguins of Madagascar" for the character of King Julien.

Robyn is abundantly grateful to be able to intertwine her knowledge, education, energy and unique experience with her clients.
